Happy Holidays! And thank you!

Happy Holidays everyone! 2024 has been a wonderfully music-filled year. We’ve spent a lot of time learning and playing together. We had fun along the way, too.

This time of year is a time of reflection and every time that I do so, I’m humbled and my heart is warmed by the support that all of you, my students, give to me. You show up every week with a great spirit and eager minds and you allow me the opportunity to share my passion with you. More importantly, I get to spend time with each of you, and wow, what an amazingly diverse group of individuals you are. Need proof?

Among you, there is/are:

  • a range of ages, from 8 years old to, erm, let’s say, way more than 8 years old.
  • painters,
  • an architect,
  • home builders,
  • retirees,
  • an airline pilot,
  • a helicopter pilot,
  • multi-instrumentalists,
  • elementary school kids,
  • middle schoolers,
  • high schoolers,
  • people working towards post-graduate degrees,
  • people who currently live in different states, including Georgia and California,
  • teachers,
  • programmers,
  • cyber-security experts,
  • a cyclist,
  • a scuba diver,
  • current military,
  • ex military,
  • sheriffs deputies (yes, there are two).

Your diversity of interests enriches my life. Every lesson gives me the opportunity to meet and learn about so many interesting people. It is a truly an honor to be a part of your lives. I only hope that I can return the favor and give to you the same joy of learning that I feel in my heart.

Thank you for allowing me to have the best job in the world. Happy Holidays to all of you.

  1. You are a wonderful guitar teacher and person. Amaya is going on over 7 years and Alex on 4 years with taking lessons from you. They look forward to seeing you and learning. It truly warms my heart to hear my kids play guitar. Thank you for sharing your gift of playing guitar and teaching it to others.
