For many of us, we learn to play an instrument so that we can feel the good vibes that you can only get when you’re playing together as a group. The music is flowing and the everyone is grooving together. That’s the experience that I hope to offer at the EW Jams.

Mike, Ben, Kelli, Ben and Gene played and sang two one-hit wonders during the jam: “I Melt With You” by Modern English and “There She Goes” by The La’s. We learned the song together, worked out arrangements and figured out the structure. By the end, we were playing the songs very well and having a great time. “There She Goes” is especially cool because we didn’t use a backing track at all. Check it out!
