O.A.R. is another example of a band that made it on their own, without the help of big record labels. They got their break by word-of-mouth marketing. Now I’m spreading the word to you. How perfect is that?

Interestingly, O.A.R.’s founding members Marc Roberge and Chris Culos grew up in Silver Spring, MD and attended Wootton High School in Rockville, MD.
