This Student Spotlight features Mark and Adam Jarek performing “Wish You Were Here.” This father-son team has been taking lessons with me for quite awhile and decided to team up and rock out! It has been fun for me to see them push each other to play better. Adam and Mark arranged this piece on their own, deciding who solos and when with very little input from me. It is also important to note the Mark’s (the dad) solo was completely improvised on the spot.
