I grew up in the nineties. All of my teenage years are nestled snugly in the final decade of the last millennium. For most of us, a great deal of our musical tastes are formed when we are teenagers. Consequently, a significant portion of my library consists of music from the nineties.
“In The Meantime” was released by one-hit-wonder Spacehog in 1996 and was played incessantly on the radio for about a full year. It was ridiculous. In fact, if you pair “In The Meantime” up with the Toadies’ “Possum Kingdom” you’d have 98 Rock’s entire playlist for 1996.
So, join me as I relive my awkward phase and listen to both “In The Meantime” and “Possum Kingdom.”
